Where are they now?

So where are these former FLQ terrorists now?

Most of the ex-FLQ terrorists actually still live in Quebec. They're going on with their lives and their jobs.

Pierre Vallières, would edit a labor magazine and became a spokesman for gay liberation in 80's in Quebec (Who would have thought) He died in 1998, at age 60.

 Jacques Cossette-Trudel is a communications consultant and writer. His ex-wife, Louise, runs a copy shop.Marc Carbonneau runs a construction company. Jacques Lanctôt owns his own publishing house. Francis Simard is a filmmaker.

Paul Rose got degrees in sociology at the University of Quebec. In the 1990s he announced his candidacy for a provincial post, but wasn't allowed because he was a convicted felon.

Jacques Rose, owns a contracting firm. In 1981, Jacques Rose was introduced at a Parti Quebecois political convention and he received a standing ovation.

 

Our criminal justice system is top-notch, did I ever mention?

 Several schools and public structures have been named in the honor of Pierre Laporte. R.I.P.
